Nils Hoffmann is a Berlin-based producer who blends his classical training with melodic deep house beats, gaining global recognition at age sixteen with his track “Balloons” before releasing his hit 2022 album A Radiant Sign on Anjunadeep. His emotionally resonant music translates perfectly from intimate studio headphones to massive festival stages like Tomorrowland.
Recently, Hoffmann brought his layered synths to a remix of “Nawa” by Thylacine, the moniker of French electronic producer William Rezé. Rezé is known for crafting progressive tracks using location-specific field recordings. For “Nawa,” Thylacine recorded the voices of the Himba community in Namibia, which Hoffmann then reshaped into a driving club anthem. As shown in the cover art for image.png, this collaboration merges Thylacine’s organic audio with Hoffmann’s electronic architecture.
