FRONT DESK CLERK — 1986

Receives arriving guests

Determines guest needs

Assigns rooms

Maintains guest records

Resolves problems

Provides local information

Coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance

Represents the hotel to guests

Records transactions and messages


GUEST SERVICES ASSOCIATE — 2026

Enters and verifies guest information in the property management system

Completes check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with brand standards

Processes payments and applies rate codes as assigned

Responds to guest inquiries using approved templates and scripted responses

Escalates guest concerns to the Duty Manager per established protocol

Logs all guest interactions in the ticketing system before end of shift

Coordinates with Housekeeping through the work-order module

Maintains familiarity with local attractions as listed in the property information binder

Completes assigned training modules by required date

Adheres to grooming, uniform, and brand presentation standards

Reports system discrepancies to the Front Office Manager

Supports departmental targets for guest satisfaction survey participation

Maintains record accuracy at or above 98 percent.
